The Day You Will Leave Me

I guess I don’t know you too closely,
But came to know you by other’s words.
Sometimes I envied you.
I wanted to exchange places with you!

Why shouldn’t I envy you?
Not much but whatever I can know about you
I felt you were a perfect human,
A human with a beautiful soul!

Maybe this is why I will be really moved,
When you will leave me!
I know I won’t be able to stop my emotions,
The day I will lose you!

Although we were never close physically…
But how does it matter?
Or does it even matter?
I will be left scarred!

Scars will definitely be there,
Some on me, some on the world around me…
The day you will lose hope in me,
I will lose hope in everything!

In those hope, there will be some dreams too!
Some will be those which I will abandon forever…
While some will remain unfulfilled forever!

I really can’t imagine my own future pain,
It will be like an anonymous muscle strain!
You may be hurt too, but mine will be incomparable!

Thanks to God, we will not have exchanged places,
Otherwise, you would have felt my pain!
You know it, I can’t see you in pain!

Anyways, I will feel that day the real pain,
Why shouldn’t I?
That day I will lose the only trusted person!…
